Etihad Credit Bureau (Etihad Bureau) has expanded its services to include scoring for cheques, a notable advancement in financial risk assessment.

The newly launched application, ChequeScore, allows users to evaluate the likelihood of a cheque bouncing within a nine-month period. Utilizing a percentage scale from 1 to 99%, the scores are color-coded: green indicates a low probability of bouncing, amber signifies a medium risk, and red denotes a high probability.

This tool serves as an important asset for assessing delivery risk regarding cheque payments, particularly for small and medium enterprises that often rely on post-dated cheques as a critical component of their cash flow management.

The registration process for the app is straightforward, enabling users to access their Cheque Score with ease. The steps include:

1. Scan a cheque, upload an image, or manually input cheque data.
2. Complete the cheque details.
3. Finalize payment.
4. View the Cheque Score.

Upon completion, users will receive an immediate display of the Cheque Score. Additionally, the app offers features to track all scanned and issued cheques in one central location. Users can also set reminders for cheque due dates and share their score with relevant parties if desired.
